TIPS FOR SHOOTING A VIDEO

Today I share you gusy some tips for shoot a video same as professional 😀

Just a few years ago, holding the camera vertically and recording vertical videos was unusual.

The way viewers were consuming vertical videos (with black bars on either side of the video and a narrow viewing angle) created a general assumption that these videos were not pleasant for the audience.

Vertical videos

A vertically-oriented or portrait-mode video is the one that is taller than wider. It takes up the entire screen on the phone, focusing the user’s full attention on the played video. Not to mention that smartphones design forces you to hold them vertically.

Mobile owners hold their phones upright 94% of the time, and they want to consume content without having to rotate their phones 90 degrees.

Horizontal videos

The main reason for making horizontal videos is the horizontal alignment of our eyes; we spend our lives on a horizontal plane. Therefore, movies and TV are horizontal.

The horizontal format is far superior to vertical when showing most things in daily life. For instance, scenes that have more than one person involved, or those that include dynamics and motion, are never vertical. They also can’t be as effective as they are in a horizontal video.

Tilt up and down

Tilting is when you move the camera vertically, up to down or down to up, while its base is fixated to a certain point. Again, like panning, this move typically involves the use of a tripod where the camera is stationary but you move the angle it points to. These shots are popular when introducing a character, especially one of grandeur, in a movie.

Have Good Lighting

One of the biggest secrets to achieving professional-looking videos is to use lighting for your storytelling. During conceptualization, try to be intentional about your lighting. Determine the types of lights that you need and where you will place them to achieve the effect that you want. Or if you’re on a budget and are working with existing lights (like lamps and the sun), think of how you can make it work for your particular scene.

That all my tips for you guys can make a video like professional and I hope this tips helpful for you! 🙏
